Early Summer Herbs and Wild Foods Plant Walk with Cara-Lee Langston

June 18 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$100.00

Summer foraging offers many ways to hone your botanical identification skills. You’ll find flowers blooming and fungi popping, everywhere you look. Learn to use flowers, leaves, and other botanical characteristics to positively identify herbs. And get the basics for identifying mushrooms. Critical skills for distinguishing a toxic plant from a safe one …so important for any forager!

We are likely to see Solomon’s seal heavy with berries, Queen Anne’s lace in bloom, and if we’re lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of the elusive ghost pipe.  Join Cara for a day in the mountains savoring the abundance of herbs and wild foods in summer!
