Family Friendly Foraging

May 25 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

$5.00 - $20.00

Kids of all ages will love spending the morning exploring the wonders of wild edibles with Cara-Lee Langston as you taste, touch and smell the abundance all around us. The setting for our foraging expedition is beautiful Timpson Creek Farm, located just a few miles outside of Clayton city limits.

Here we’ll see what’s growing along the creeks, hills and fields as Cara-Lee shows you how to identify safe, delicious wild edibles. Other highlights include a wild food scavenger hunt and a discussion about what the Nigerian dwarf goats that live on the farm like to forage. You’ll never look at weeds the same way again!

And Cara-Lee is leading other plant walks this summer, see a complete listing here.
