The second half of this seminar provides a general overview of what practitioners and their patients need to be aware of when combining herbs with prescription medications. Since very few people are not combining herbal remedies with some sort of pharmaceutical medications, this is information is critical for a successful herbal practice. By understanding some of the general principles of pharmacology, it is possible to predict common interactions, discern theoretical concerns and take precautions to avoid adverse reactions.
